- Public instructor led First Aid Responder training is €300 per person for the 3 day's training.
- Private instructor led First Aid Responder training onsite is €1,200 for the 3 day's training. With the price broken down, it costs €150 per person (max of 8 people).

- The FAR training course is valid for 2 years after which recertification training (2 day FAR Refresher) is required.

After completing the first aid responder course you will possess the following general skills.

- Deal with life threatening or potentially life-threatening conditions in the workplace until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Provide your far training for conditions not thought to be life-threatening but are necessary to prevent further harm before the emergency medical services arrive.
- Provide pre-hospital first aid response in a wide range of environments including home, recreational and workplace settings.
- Display the requisite personal skills including composure, competence and self-confidence while understanding the limits of the far training.
- Manage such incidents and during handover to EMS.
why should i complete first aid responder training?
Under the Occupational First Aid Regulations 2007, there is a requirement on management, based on a risk assessment, to have a sufficient number of staff complete a first aid responder training (Occupational First Aiders) trained and available in the workplace at all times. The FAR training course covers all of the occupational first aid requirements for places of work as outlined by the Health and safety Authority.
How long is the certification valid for?
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a certificate which will be valid for 2 years.
