Our Basic First Aid course covers a wide range of emergencies that may occur at home, in the workplace or in your community. We will provide you with the knowledge & skillset to be confident in rendering first aid to someone in need.
This course is 6 hours in duration including practical sessions.
Course Content
Unit 1 - Introduction to basic first aid.
Unit 2 - Activation of the emergency services.
Unit 3 - Heart attack & stroke.
Unit 4 - Basic life support - adult CPR / AED, choking & recovery position.
Unit 5 - Bleeding & shock.
Unit 6 - Fractures & head injuries.
Unit 7 - Burns & scalds.
Unit 8 - First aid kits.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for anyone who would like a basic awareness of first aid, if you would like to become a full first aid responder please check out our First Aid Responder course.

- Public instructor led Basic First Aid training in Dublin is €120 per person.
- Private instructor led Basic First Aid training onsite is €500 per session. With the price broken down, it costs €50 per person (max of 10 people).

Certification
- Basic First Aid Certificate approved by Safety Training Ireland.
- The Basic First Aid training course is valid for 2 years after which recertification training is required.
